Planned on 530 acre campus of Ahalya, The geriatric hospital is first of its kind in Kerala This 200 bed hospital is spread over a lush green surrounding in elapully village in Palakkad. The idea is to create a characteristic atmosphere in a vital space.The aim is to ensure total accessibility, physical autonomy, psychical security and respect to individual privacy, facilitating access to visitors.

The linear modules, folds around a large void, creating various perspectives and a sense of overview in the building. Each modules gets view towards these open spaces to the green area around the building. The result is a very light volume that is bathed in natural light and space bringing the outside into the inside creating a perception of health-giving from nature.
